PowerSpot: Noelle DiPietro

This is PowerSpot, Plug Power’s monthly blog series where we highlight the Plug Power employees who inspire us and, we hope, will inspire you, too. Today, we’re hearing from Noelle DiPietro, Plug Power’s Executive Assistant to CEO, Andy Marsh.

Can you tell us in 20 words or less what your job entails?

Gate keeper of the executive area.  If I can’t find the answer then I usually know who can!

What is the big project you’re working on currently?

Renovation of a building that will become our temporary headquarters. Our Latham workforce has grown so quickly that we no longer have enough space for our employees and our manufacturing. It’s a massive undertaking.

What is your favorite thing about your career?

I love that no two days are the same. We are constantly changing and challenging ourselves!

What about hydrogen and fuel cells inspires you most?

Watching from where we have started to how far we have come.  We have done amazing things in a few short years with this technology.  We have an exciting future ahead of us!

What’s the most daring thing you’ve ever done?

Taking a job in the fuel cell industry. It was a  total switch from what I knew and was established in –  the live event industry –  and I really knew nothing about fuel cells.  It’s the best leap I have ever made!

What advice would you give your 21 year old self, if you could?

Enjoy this time – it goes fast!
