Sixteen years ago, William embarked on his journey with Plug. A spontaneous job interview following a vacation to South Africa changed the course of his career, and he hasn’t looked back since. What excites Herron the most about Plug is being part of a select global group successfully delivering hydrogen—a testament to the company’s pioneering efforts in the industry. 

William’s story reflects the essence of teamwork and collaboration vital for instigating meaningful change in the green hydrogen sector and beyond. However, his contributions extend beyond the plant. Outside of his work at Plug, Herron dedicates his time to bringing happiness to families and children. Acting as a clown at a children’s orthopedic hospital, he adds a touch of joy to those in need.
